Payment Plans
San José City College now offers payment plans through TouchNet. The plans are interest-free monthly plans.
- To register, sign into Single Sign On
- Click on the “Student Finance” button
- Click “Payment plans” to setup a plan.
Why use a payment plan?
- Self-Service access on a PC or mobile device
- One-time, flat setup fee
- Interest-free payments
- Multiple payment methods

What fees are charged for enrolling in a Payment Plan that I am eligible for?
- $25 set up fee will be charged to set up the plan
- Transaction fee will be charged each time you make a payment (Domestic Card: 2.95%, International Card: 4.25%)
- A 10-percent down payment is required
Note: Touchnet and credit card processors apply the additional fees. The District and the College are unable to fund these costs.

What is the Touchnet Payment Center?
- The Touchnet Payment Center is the new online payment system for registration payments for students who are enrolled at San José City College and Evergreen Valley College.
When is the Touchnet Payment Center available for payments?
- The Touchnet Payment Center is available 24/7 to accept payments.
What payment methods are accepted through the Touchnet Payment Center?
- The Touchnet Payment Center currently accepts: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards.
What information do I need to use the Touchnet Payment Center?
- The Touchnet Payment Center is accessible through Colleague Self Service. Once you log in to either system you will have access to Touchnet Payment Center.
Can I enroll in a plan before I have an account balance for the semester?
- No.
What happens if I cannot make an installment payment?
- If an installment payment is late, a $25 late fee will be assessed to your student account. Payments must be made immediately.
What if I have financial aid? How does that affect my plan?
- If a student is awarded financial aid for a semester, installment payments will be reduced to reflect the amount of the award.
What fees are charged for enrolling in a Payment Plan that I am eligible for?
- Enrollment fee = $25

Is there a credit card service fee if I use my credit card to enroll in a payment plan?
- Yes. 2.95% convenience fee for domestic payments. This fee is not charged by the SJCC/EVC and does not go to SJCC/EVC. It is a fee charged by the credit card processor.
When will my payment post to my student account?
- Your payments are posted immediately as soon as a payment is processed successfully
Can I make more than 1 payment on the same day ?
- Yes. Students can make more than 1 payment.
