Visiting F-1 International Student - How to Apply

Six Easy Steps to Becoming a Visiting F-1 Student (Concurrent Enrollment)

1. Apply - Go to CCCApply and submit an application. Take note of your confirmation number.
2. Obtain a permission letter from your current school’s International Program allowing you to take one or two courses at SJCC.
3. Email permission letter and confirmation number from CCCApply (or SJCC student id number) to the Office of Admissions & Records at San Jose City College to obtain a student ID number at sjcc.admissions@sjcc.edu.
4. If you are registering for a class that has a prerequisite, complete this form: Prerequisite Clearance Form

6. Pay for Classes via your Self-Service account.
