Administrative Services Departments
The Business Services Department is responsible for accounting functions that take place on campus. Business Services assists with student accounts, facility rentals, vehicle reservations, petty cash, contract management, college fiscal planning and budgeting, coordinating grant management, scholarships, and collecting outstanding debt from students. We also support students with graphing calculator rentals, book loans, and other activities approved by the Associated Student Government.
Business Services is located in the Business Building, Room B101 and operates Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Campus Technology Support and Services (CTSS) supports students, staff, and faculty at San José City College. CTSS can assist you with software and equipment requests, repair or work requests, video conference requests, and assistance with your webpage. The CTSS Department uses a work order system to address the technical needs of the college. CTSS is located in GE 106 and operates Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm..
The Custodial Department maintains the nearly 500,000 square feet of space on campus to provide for a clean and healthy environment that we enjoy on a daily basis. The Grounds Department is responsible for the immaculate grounds that we enjoy here at SJCC. Planting new flowers, keeping trees and bushes trimmed, making repairs as needed and overall upkeep of the outdoor areas of the campus is their mission every day. The staff members in both of these departments make walking across the campus a joy no matter what time of year it is.
Although Maintenance requests are a district function, the Maintenance Department works closely with both campuses. The Maintenance Department services all district facilities. The staff are assigned by trades to include all services required for Electrical, HVAC, Painting, Carpenter, Locksmith, Vehicle Mechanic and Maintenance Workers and other minor facility repairs. The district also has an online work order system that allows end-users to place works orders into the system that is tracked and managed by the maintenance department.

The Reprographics Department is responsible for the graphic design, printing, copying and publication creation for the district. With satellite locations at both San José City College and the Evergreen Valley College, the Reprographics Department provides an array of services to faculty, staff and eligible students throughout the District.
As an added convenience to the campus community, San José City College has a selection of on campus dining services.
