César E. Chávez Library
Announcements:
Want to learn to use ChatGPT and other generative AI tools responsibly in your classwork? Enroll in Library 10 Digital Literacy this spring term. This 1-unit, late start hybrid course, meets weekly and covers: research question development, ethical information use, effective searching, fact checking, data privacy, responsible use of generative AI, and humane digital engagement. (Course ID: 130311) Starts March 23rd!
Attention Faculty: Nexis Uni will not be available from the Library platform starting on April 10th due to its lack of compliance with the Accessibility standards known as WAG 2.1 Level A & AA. Be sure to revise your spring 2026 curriculum so that there are no links to Nexis Uni in your Canvas course shells, starting April 10, 2026. Instead, consider adding the Library's alternative platform: LegalTrac. Please reach out to your area Dean for further details about Nexis Uni, or book an instructional session with a librarian to showcase LegalTrac during one of your class meetings.
