The 2025-2026 FAFSA and CADAA are for the following terms: Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Spring 2026, Summer 2026
The priority deadline for the 2025-2026 FAFSA and CADAA April 2, 2025. By meeting this deadline, students will be considered for Cal Grant for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) helps determine eligibility for:
- Federal Student Aid – grants, loans, and work-study
- State Aid Programs – CA College Promise Grant, Cal Grant & Student Success Completion Grant

The California Dream Act Application (CADAA) helps determine eligibility for:
- State Aid Programs – CA College Promise Grant, Cal Grant & Student Success Completion Grant

The California College Promise Grant (CCPG) application determines eligibility for:
- California College Promise Grant (CCPG)
- Valid Summer, Fall, Spring

get your FSA ID
Benefits of having a working FSA ID include:
- Electronically sign the FAFSA
- Electronically sign your student loan application
- Correct, update, renew or review your FAFSA
- View your federal student aid history
- Your parents can get a FSA ID to electronically sign the FAFSA (as applicable)
to apply for aid for the 2025-2026 Academic Year, you will need the following:
Social Security Number and driver's license (if applicable)
Alien registration or permanent resident card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
Your (and your spouse´s, if you are married) 2023 income information
Your (and your spouse's) 2023 IRS Form 1040 and W-2 forms and associated schedules and attachments
The Financial Aid Office may need tax transcripts
Your Parents´ 2023 income information (if you are a dependent student):
2023 untaxed income records
Social Security Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Welfare
Current bank statements, business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bond and other investment records (as applicable)
Timeline & Deadlines
The FAFSA is valid for one academic year. You must renew the FAFSA each academic year you wish to apply for and receive aid
