You're cordially invited to join the Latino Education Association (L.E.A.) family, which is committed to supporting SJCC students through various scholarships and programs. L.E.A. organizes numerous events throughout the year, including the La Raza Commencement, Latino Heritage Month, Día de Los Muertos, and our impactful scholarship program.

It's important to note that regardless of your heritage, you can become a valued member of the L.E.A. community. To become a dues-paying member, complete a volunteer contribution form. The membership dues for L.E.A. are $10 per month for classified employees and $15 for certificated employees. However, you're encouraged to contribute more if you're inclined to do so. These dues play a vital role in supporting the programs mentioned above.

We're sincerely grateful for your support in advancing the L.E.A.'s mission. Thank you for standing with us.

La Raza Commencement provides a unique occasion for students and their familias to unite in a bilingual and bicultural ceremony, celebrating this joyous event. Each year, L.E.A. organizes a dedicated commencement ceremony to honor the accomplishments of students transferring, completing their certificates, or earning their associate degrees.
