Basic Needs
services and resources to help you succeed!
At San José City College, we are dedicated to supporting our students' well-being through a comprehensive array of basic needs services. Our on-campus resources include the Basic Needs Center, which serves as a central hub for the following support services:
- The Jaguar Market and regular food distribution events ensure that no student goes hungry. Mental Health Resources are readily available to provide emotional and psychological support.
- We also connect students with essential community resources for food, housing, and utilities. Our partnerships with community organizations further extend the reach of our support.
- Additional resources like Caring Campus initiatives and dedicated services for student parents emphasize our commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Students can also utilize our referral and reporting forms to seek assistance and ensure their needs are met.
