Do I need 1098-T Form?
The District Office typically does not generate 1098-T forms for F1 international students, as international student tuition should not be claimed unless you are a true dependent of a taxpayer (e.g. child/spouse) that is a U.S. Citizen or resident alien. If you need to obtain a copy of your 1098-T Form, please complete and submit Internal Revenue Service Form W-9 and provide your Social Security Number (SSN) / Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to the Admissions and Records office. Your MyWeb will be updated with your 1098-T form in late January.
