Jaguar Stadium Re-opening Event

Join us to celebrate the newly renovated Jaguar Stadium with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the first home game of the 2022 season. 

The SJCC  Jaguars take on the De Anza Mountain Lions, as they break-in a brand new state-of-the art field. 

  • Pre-game festivities will start at 4 pm with the kick-off against the Mountain Lions at 6 pm.
  • Free tacos while they last, courtesy of Associated Student Government
  • Campus resource fair, games, and swag
  • Raffle for SJCC students, including two $250 SJCC book store gift cards and ten $50 gas cards, courtesy of the SJCC president's office

Thanks to our community-supported bond, Measure X, the renovated Jaguar Stadium is now one of the finest facilities of its kind in the California Community College system.

  • Investment: $8.7 million
  • The artificial turf by FieldTurf is made of UV-resistant polyethylene that uses a blend of silica sand and PureFill infill for superior shock resistance.
  • FieldTurf partners with USA Football, and their turf is FIFA Quality.
  • New goal posts and logo
  • The track from Beynon consists of a custom BSS 2000 Olympic-Caliber Full Pour Polyurethane Track System that provides premium grade performance and unmatched shock absorbency.
  • The track was widened, and the turf was expanded to allow for an NCAA regulation soccer field to be included.
  • All track and field events will be moved off the football sideline and onto their own areas.
  • The visitor bleachers were upgraded, allowing 2,030 visitors to enjoy events.
  • New storage for football and track equipment was purchased.
  • Restrooms are upgraded to be ADA-compliant.
