Biography
Javy Galindo grew up in Sunnyvale and later earned his degree from the University of California, San Diego. After spending 12 years in San Diego, he returned to the South Bay, where he has lived ever since.
Before entering education, Javy spent over a decade working as an electrical engineer. In 2010, after earning a graduate degree with a focus on East/West Philosophy and Religion, he transitioned to teaching philosophy and humanities at both university and community college levels throughout the South Bay.
Javy is passionate about helping students recognize their potential for growth, regardless of their academic history or personal circumstances. His goal is to provide an equitable, inclusive education that supports students in flourishing across all areas of their lives.
