San José City College's Earth and Space Sciences program offers courses in Astronomy, Geology, Earth Science, Meteorology and Oceanography. Instructors use multimedia materials and other interactive strategies to enhance student learning.

We emphasize lecture-laboratory courses to provide students with varied learning experiences. Laboratory class sizes are kept small to increase individual contact between students and instructors. A computer lab is available for students in room S-201 and laptop computers are available for student use during labs.
