The City of San José is the heart of Silicon Valley and is located in beautiful Northern California. San José is the third largest city in California and the tenth largest city in the United States. Within reach of San José are San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz, Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite.

Airport

Transportation

Once you’re here, San José offers a robust public transportation system for you to get to where you need to be. The BART System and the VTA Light Rail & Bus System allow for quick and convenient transportation around San Jose and its neighboring cities. San José City College has 91 years of history in San José. For almost 60 years the college has been located at its current location working with our neighbors and tied into the community to meet their needs. Our diverse community has changed many times since the college was built and we continue to change with it to address the workforce and educational needs of our community.
