He served as a Senior Design Training Specialist at Cepheid, a molecular diagnostics company, and a communications specialist at Kaiser Permanente, Johnson & Johnson, and The Health Trust, where he helped manage and maintain their websites. Dan's previous employers also benefited from his efforts in organizing Latinx employee groups. He is a Latino Leadership Alliance Academy graduate, holds a transfer degree in Communication Studies and Mass Media from Mission College and a BA in Communication Studies from SJSU. Dan comes from a family of SJCC alums dating back to the 1960s. In addition to his extensive experience in corporate communications and website coordination, Dan is proficient in photography and videography.
